founded in 2006, is one of those names that has quietly shaped Kolkata’s skyline over the last two decades. They’ve built premium commercial and residential landmarks across the city and West Bengal- catering to MIG, UMIG and HIG buyers who value trust, transparency and timeless construction quality.
They’re the kind of legacy developer everyone in the real estate circle knows, even if they don’t scream the loudest online.
This project came with a plot twist.
Shivom Realty had zero access to their old social media pages- which meant all their past followers, engagement insights and brand recall… gone. Clean slate. Fresh start.
But here’s where it gets even more interesting-
The client did not want to promote their ongoing or upcoming projects. Zero launches. Zero property images. Zero “here’s a 3BHK with sunlight pouring in” type content.
Instead, they wanted their entire digital presence to revolve around West Bengal’s heritage- especially the areas where their properties already exist.
So the brief looked like this:
No project promotions
No property photos
No amenities, no renders, no walkthroughs
Build a brand presence anyway
And make it engaging, organic and share-worthy
Challenge accepted.
Our IDEATION
We flipped the typical real estate playbook and went full culture-first content marketing.
We mapped out all of Shivom’s property locations and deep-dived into the history, heritage, trivia, folklore, architecture, and lesser-known facts surrounding each area.
Instead of talking about what Shivom builds, we talked about where they build- turning the brand into a custodian of West Bengal’s heritage.
Our content strategy included:
Bite-sized historical gems
Local legends and micro-histories
Old maps, heritage structures, neighbourhood trivia
Storytelling-led visuals rooted in nostalgia
Educational + shareable posts that built organic reach
The narrative?
“Shivom isn’t erasing history to build new structures- they’re building with the city, not over it.”
This created an entirely new brand perception: cultured, rooted, historically aware, and deeply connected to its geography- something no competitor was doing.
And it worked- the content became highly shareable, scroll-stopping and created a unique niche for Shivom in the digital real estate space.
